Does it really help for Trump to get combative during these interviews.  If the interviewer is asking bad questions - this does happen,  I'd rather see Trump give a thoughtful, well informed responses where he rejects the interviewer's premises and then proceed to explain why its a false narrative with facts.  This is stronger than what he actually did. 

If Trump caught the interviewer making false narratives 3 times, at that point, he set up the interviewer for the type of tong lashing Trump gave him.  But, without the set-up, it the tong lashing falls flat. It will be used against him.  A good comedian has to prime the audience and then spring a fantastic punch line on them.  It's the same thing with interviews where the interviewer is being a bit aggressive and using false narratives.

I thought TRUMP was very fair up to the point Moron says the photo has been photo shopped. He's calling TRUMP a liar. I mean, at least Moron could have provided the evidence he has that the photo was altered. And, ABC has always treated TRUMP with total disrespect. **** all the fake news sites. May TRUMP bust them in their *** asses every day.

Ok, that's a fair point.  I had to go back and re-watch the clip.  I didn't catch the part where the reporter claimed the picture was photo-shopped. Yep, he said it, and that is when Trump got combative with him.  In reviewing it again, I agree with you, Terry deserved to get punched right between the eyes.  You don't make a claim that a photo of a gang member with MS13 tattooed on his knuckles is photo-shopped, unless you are ready to back that BS claim up.  The interviewer just made that **** up and lied.

What you are describing is precisely what Putin does - off the cuff, regularly.

He fields questions routinely - and I'm not talking about from friendly media. I'm talking about from western media - the unfriendliest kind. He has absolute command of the facts, never falls into gotchas, always comes off classy and a winner. He doesn't make fools of reporters. He lets them do that to themselves.

I think a better response Trump could have made would be to tell the reporter that he would trust his agents in the field to identify gang members, rather than agents of the MSM.

I think if Trump pointed out that the American people and their Constitution tasks federal agencies - not news reporters - to identify and deport illegal aliens, most viewers would respond audibly to their televisions, "Damn straight." Then he might pitch a deal to the reporter - "Tell ya what. If you'll let my guys file your news reports, I'll let your guys go out and decide which aliens to deport." Then throw out a hand as if to shake on it.

And if he takes the hand, do that creepy middle finger thing. WTF IS that thing? Where ya fold in your middle finger on a hand shake? Some kind of man bun on a ten speed thing?
