Remember afew years back gas hit $5 a Gallon for Regular.

Traffic thinned out only people with "Real Buisness" were out there on the roads not the morons or old ladys they couldnt afford the gas to be in your way.

2022 start of Ukraine War Regular Gas shot $5 a gallon Diesel Fuel $6 a gallon

In 1980s gas and diesel used be 90 cents a buck ten per gallon.

A USA Dollar in the 1980s had 4/5 times the $pending Power a Dollar today.

So $5/$6 ,Dollars a Gallon bring us "On Par" with Real 1980 Dollars & Prices per Gallon.

If ya cant Afford It "Consolidate" your trips or buy a better car.

Dont be playing with your phone weaving in and outta traffic might have to go TEN BUCKS a Gallon if thats what it takes too

The "Highest" Gas Prices in History were 2008 the 1st of FOUR Dollars under George Bush Jr before the Housing Crash.

In a 2007 /2008 Dollar adjusment Inflation been like paying $3 bucks today and $2.999 normal in my area for REGULAR 87 Unleaded pump price..

Oil had crashed to $60 something a barrell but gas only went down a dime or nickel.

$5/$6 bucks a Gallon "Consistent" Price.

Keep the MORONS off the Road and in every buisness transaction Transportation Co$ts adequately "Reflected".

The "Excess" in Low Oil Prices goes directly to Improve Infrastructure and Roads  

Higher Gas prices means more "Efficiency" and less wear and tear sorry ya morons and old ladies gonna co$t ya a Paycheck be driving around "Aimlessly" clogging up our roads too

Today theres alotta more traffic.

Many of them poor people with a wreck of a car and no "Insurance" either.

I guess at the "DMV" Level States could require a license and Insurance upfront register a car instead of pay $$$ heres plates and a registration slip.

Ya never get all States 2 Agree march in a "Straight Line".

Federal Level Gas should be $5/$6 a Gallon then the traffic thin out on its own
 

That said should be "Tax Breaks" or cut outs for Farming & Trucking Industries they save their receipts get a Tax Credit

onset of war Gas and Commodities "Skyrocketed" on futures markets back 2022/2023.

Gas was 5 bucks and Diesel running shy $6 for a time.

Eventually things "levelled" out and prices crashed came back 2 earth too eventually.

That said for almost a year start of Ukraine War prices of commoditties went "Sky High" and we "Paid" 4 it at Gas Pumps & Grocery Stores too
