Nowadays they got a "DPF" Filters which clog very frequently.

Low Sulfuer Fuel and the DPF Fluid 

Now when the Diesel Particulate Filter Clogs its an Engine Light and get off the road.

Ya do a "Reset" a Re-Generation

It runs very hot and black smoke sometimes so freaking hot it can actually set Asphalt & Blacktop on fire too

Basically the DPF system collecets all the soot

But during a Regeneration Cycle bascially burns all that crap off

Was good intentions " Cleaner Air" but for Carriers and Drivers thos constant "Breakdowns" and Repair bills too which is also refleceted on the Store Shelves ya paying extra 4 it too

Diesel is a lower refined and very dirty fuel burns soot but somehow today Diesel Fuel more expensive than gasoline.

The "EPA" regulations since 2010/2012 Model Years.

Basically it just get really hot burns all that off in thick black smoke

What exactly are we saving here

In the begining that took awhile Truckstops install DEF right at the pumps so ya bought plastic jugs and guys just throw em out everywhere too

Ya know where "Plastic" comes from too its a "Byproduct" the Oil Refining Process

Ya talking about a "Refinery"

So much each barrel of oil is Gas or Diesel fuel.

The remaining is byproducts or chemicals make stuff like Plastic outta that also Tar and Blacktop

 
 

My Grain Elevator Days haul Corn to the Ethanol plant.

After they cook Ethanol outta it the Byproducts the waste very good Cattle Feed and Farmers drive their trucks up there buy that from Valero Energies take that stuff 2 feed their cows

The Crack Spread is the differences in prices of the components of the refining process...

The greater the spread, the greater the incentive to refine further....this means that even though diesel is low on the ladder, it may not be produced in sufficient quantities because it is more profitable to spit out jet fuel and propane.

Tighter supply raises the price - regardless of the price of oil.

Last time I was out there all Foreingners and burn the brake pads ditch em too

Now they gotta bring in the cops and wreckers shut the whole highway down too  clean up the mess.

Back in the day used be just "Ocassional" sort of thingy

Today thats every other day now they "Heavy" but dont Understand a Lower Gear throw the Jake switch high ya ride down the Mountain

Today even in the "Granny Lane " they come almost right up through your "Rearend" and Flip Ya Off Too.

 Excuse me Pal did they not teach ya back in "Trucking School" how downshift have right gear before ya go down a freaking Mountain Pass

Also the "Safe" Following Distance ya dont right up on somebodys tail almost rear-end them
