My Granfather started on the line after The "Korea War" and he just stayed there 30 years got his retirement outta them before bankruptcy and Chrysler $ale..

My Uncle also worked there but he needed another 10/12 years a "Pension" he ended up out in Detroit working there.

Anyways this used 2 be "Honorable" Work even at the High Schools "Carreer Day" set up show ya working in the plant etc.

Today only "Mexicans" do Real Work heck Temp Services dont wanna speak to ya unless ya a "Mexican".

Everything controlled by Computers too..

Used be 5/10 minutes fill out a paper job application and a copy ya Resume.

Today its all Computer crap an hour and for something aint gonna call ya back neither so why waste my time.

People back then were more "Real" too.

Theyd talk with ya not incessently checking an Iphone or social media.

After work ya walked across the street to a Bar ordered pitchers and shots ya drank it up too.

Heck back then a corner bar still ca$hed Paychecks too
 
 

Maybe Americans still do Work but we abuncha Alcholics andwe dont need Women at Temp Services and a buncha Mexicans.

What ya need is a simple 2 sided job application and can ya just show up 2nd or 3rd Shift tonight.

Thats how it used 2 be finding a Job.
