The prohibition against foreign gifts to the President or other office holder, absent Congressional approval, is "the only ethics and conflicts rule that was put directly in the Constitution by the founders and the framers."
And yet, according to reports, Attorney General Pam Bondi (R) has concluded that the transfer of the plane from Qatar to the Defense Department and then to the Trump Presidential Library is legally permissible.
How did Bondi come to this conclusion? Her rationale has not been publicly released. But we do know that, before joining Trump's political operation, Bondi represented the Qatari Government as a foreign agent in a $115,000 per month contract between Qatar and Bondi's former employer, the Trump-connected lobbying firm Ballard Partners.
If Qatar transfers the plane to Trump, the complex process of outfitting the plane with the security features to serve as Air Force One will reportedly go to L3Harris, a military contractor. L3Harris recently hired Ballard Partners to lobby the federal government on its behalf for "business development."

Sucks for you that YOUR HATE is so overwhelmingly deep that you can't see the REAL FACTS behind TRUTH!!
It's NOT A GIFT TO TRUMP, DICKSUCK!! Because it's NOT HIS TO CLAIM, but the US GOVERNMENT'S.
As a FYI, there are 2 787's in production for use as AF1, that haven't been completed NOR close to delivery. And if memory serves, won't be until 2028 or 2029. The CURRENT AF1 is over 40 years old and in massive need of refurbishing and air frame inspections and probable repair. The COST to build new planes is FAR LESS. The backup AF1 is out of service due to structural issues, so this PLANE BEING GIVEN TO THE US GOVERNMENT is going to be the backup to the current AF1.
Sucks you are SO **** STUPID TO GET ANY FACTS to EXPOSE YOUR **** LIES!!
Your assertion doesn't trump my citation.*Beekeeper » 37 minutes ago » wrote: ↑ Notice how your CITATION IS DEAD *** WRONG and nothing more than an OPINION by some **** IDIOT LIKE YOU!!

The luxury Boeing 747 gifted to the U.S. government by Qatar is standing by at the San Antonio, Texas, airport, awaiting a specialized overhaul from a defense contractor so that President Trump can use it as the next Air Force One.
