And, I don't even really care. When I posted the definition of survivor bias you showed how stupid you truly are.
I am just successfully jerking your chain.
Here's an idea, you mincing ******. There are four options. Pick one. I did. And mine was right. And I never preened that this was my area of expertise.

Common sense. I don't even recall ever having heard the term, but the term is bloody self explanatory. I can't believe that a stupid ****** is skirt-hiking. You must have a very low IQ.
He has been awfully quiet. I can safely assume he is now digging through my profile again to bring up 3 year old threads.Cannonpointer » 46 minutes ago » wrote: ↑ Here's an idea, you mincing ******. Jesus. I already did ****. Stop pretending that you didn't see this. Where is the lie? Yeah, that's what I thought. Now get to it.Blackvegetable » 10 minutes ago » wrote: ↑
This must begin with you posting my definition of Survivorship bias....and acknowledging that you have been lying.
orWhen a sample fails to reflect "mortality" in the population being examined.
Which scenario is an example of survivorship bias in evaluating business success?"Sampling error"
I have one for you. Let's see if you can take what you dish out. Ready?Blackvegetable » 15 minutes ago » wrote: ↑
Then, before I need do anything else, you will explain what Survivorship bias has to do with the results of the APSA survey.
Here's a far better idea...
To give some backstory here, I was exposing Veghead's stupid article about his usual presidential rankings. He was using a fallacy that is called "survivorship bias." Now, I don't expect people to know offhand what that means. However, given how much Veghead brags that he has superior aptitude in stats...and math in general, there was no need for me to define the fallacy. He should already know since it's a common term in stats. So, what did he think it meant? He took it literally and thought it meant dead presidents. LOL! The bolded quote at the end proves how intellectually superior he is. Image
I am left with no choice, but to publicly embarrass him.
@Blackvegetable I will never let you live this gem down.
Survivorship bias = dead presidents. Image

Before I do, you must demonstrate that you understand what survivorship bias is.

Ask Vegas to elaborate on its application to the APSA survey...he thinks you're too stupid to understand what he's lying about.

Let me break this down for your dumb ***. You see the 4 options to the question? Every option includes your definition, but only one is an example of survivorship bias. Your definition was half assed. Like all of your content.

Which scenario is an example of survivorship bias in evaluating business success?
A) Believing that reading business books increases revenue after finding many CEOs recommend them.
B) Concluding that most startups fail after analyzing bankrupt companies.
C) Thinking entrepreneurship is easy because most media profiles focus on successful founders.
D) Surveying customers to understand why they chose your product over competitors.
You struck through it. God you are **** dumb. So **** stupid.
