This article describes the many variations of the Colt AR-15 and M16 rifle family of weapons produced by Colt's Manufacturing Company. Weapons patterned on the original ArmaLite AR-15 design have been produced by numerous manufacturers and have been used by nations around the world, some of which created their own variations. The tables here are split into a variety of categories and provide an overview of different subtypes. For purposes of these tables, bold model numbers are weapons used (or previously used) by the U.S. Military while italic model numbers are weapons for commercial or export sale. See Glossary of terms for an explanation of each column.
What the F- are you trying to prove? Huey knows guns. I know guns. I am sure there are some things you know a heck of a lot better than I do. Firearms and Gun laws are not one of them. Every time you (or Mr. Kelly) try to discuss guns with us, using the wrong nomenclature as you so often do, it just looks ridiculous.

Now, if you were engaged in a discussion with me to actually learn something, I'd be far more forgiving. But, you like to use terms like "Assault Weapon" "Clip", etc. without knowing their origin or what these terms actually mean.

The reason Huey and I make such a big deal about this is because we've been involved for years, maybe decades, watching every gun-banning attempt at legislation as well as propaganda very closely. We (and others) scrutinize this stuff, because those writing the laws and the propaganda hardly ever know **** about firearms!  Its like me trying to have a discussion with an experienced coder about "hacking".

Apparently not as well as you think.

If you can't distinguish design from variant or modification, you should find another topic

Yeah, whatever.

How many AR's have you built? What trigger systems have you installed? What 1911's have you worked on? Tell me the 3 best 308 bullpups currently manufactured. What typically breaks on a Gwinn Armpistol, and why? What calibers did the Megastar come in? Why isn't the Braverman an AOW? What country is responsible for producing and exporting Key-Fob guns? How many clicks should 1st Gen SAA 45lc have? Name the only 1980's factory-manufactured machine gun rifle that could be purchased by civilians. What is the difference between a CZ 85b and a CZ 75b? What do you need to do to purchase a modern Cane-gun that fires smokless powder cartridges?  What's the difference between an FRT and an Echo?

This is just some random gun stuff I know without having to look up. Seriously, can you answer any of these questions without having to search the interweb?

Fondling something doesn't give you insight into the language used to describe it.

And language can't disguise the nature of the object in question

You did just prove his point.  You have zero experience with either weapon and don’t understand the material provided to you.

Here's the funny thing.  I've never understood gun control leftists who obsess over firearms, yet have no experience with them at all.  Aren't they at least curious?  If I were anti-gun, I think I'd be curious enough to perhaps go to a gun show with a pocket full of hundreds and buy something really "evil" looking.  Take it to a range, shoot it, and then if I still hate the thing, sell it.  At least then I'd have a little bit of real experience to back up what I'm saying.

Of course, what would happen is I'd secretly like the gun.  I'd go onto gun forums and discuss it.  I'd accessorize it.  Then, I'd buy another just because I really hate guns and want to learn more about them to shut up all the gun fanboys out there.

Good morning Huey.
After some years worth of witnessing  BV's misplaced anxiety about semi auto rifles..what does he hope to accomplish by playing word games with definitions...?
There are 20 to 25 million AR 15 style rifles in the USA.....[not counting the ones that Obama handed out to Mexican criminals].
Here's a State by State look at firearm ownership.......https://www.cbsnews.com/pictures/gun-ow ... y-state/9/

What is it you insist I don't understand about the text of your citation, specifically...

You never, not once, have you addressed that challenge.  You haven't even read it.  Because if you addressed that challenge, honestly, you would be yelling for me to a week off.  Remember yo dishonest waste of a 5 dollar ****, if you answered I would have taken a particular week.

So ya, lying, cowardly ******, you never read it.

Nope, **** liar.  You have not been there nor have you done that.  I know you are lying.  Part of the challenge was if you simply honestly answered those points I would have taken 5 days off.  You never, not once, demanded I do that.

You lied.  I have kicked fat flabby *** you move around on undersized feet way too often.  Now more questions until you own up to this:

I will take the L when you do the following:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_C ... ary_models

And the civilian models:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_C ... ian_models

Here is the challenge again:

Now, to end this.  Using the link I gave you years ago and you have misunderstood ever since, do the following.  If you answer correctly, showing you are wrong,  I will take Monday thru Friday off.  If you prove me wrong, I will take a month off.

1.  Post what list the AR 15 semi automatic sports rifle is listed in.  Military or civilian.

2.  Post the year range that the AR 15 Semi Auto sports rifle was standard issue in the military to infantryman.

If you answer honestly both questions I will take the 5 days off. If you show the dates the Sporter was standard issue for the military and that t is on the military list I will take the Month of Sep off.
