Do you believe these Medicaid cuts are justified in order to fund tax cuts and reduce federal spending?

Medicaid isn't "healthcare". It's after-the-fact care.

After you're broke, it comes in handy.

There is a mythology built around that.
Sounds like good intentions but it never works out that way.

Why Medicaid Cuts Affect Everyone — Even If You’re Not on It

The “Big Beautiful Bill” proposes cutting Medicaid by over $700 billion. Even if you don’t use Medicaid, the effects will reach you. Here's how:
  • ER Overload – Uninsured patients flood emergency rooms. Hospitals eat the cost, then raise your bills and insurance premiums. So the next time you whine about having to pay for the poor people, then know that you supported this part of the bill. So shut your cry-hole.
  • Higher Premiums – More untreated illness = more expensive care = higher costs passed on to private insurers (and you). Did you really think this specific cut wouldn't cancel out by means of your pocketbook?
  • School Cuts – Medicaid funds nurses, therapists, and counselors in public schools. Cuts mean fewer services or higher local taxes. You would be surprised at how many middle class professions are funded by Medicaid.
  •  Nursing Home Strain – Over 60% of long-term elder care is paid by Medicaid. Cuts could force families to cover massive costs themselves. Unless you are Asian or Mexican. They take care of their own. It's the white and blacks that abandoned families.
  •  Job Losses – Medicaid supports millions of healthcare jobs. Cuts can lead to layoffs, especially in rural and working-class areas. I know a lady with a Phd in Occupational therapy. Most of her contracts are Medicaid. She will be out of a job.
Bottom Line:
When the safety net shrinks, everyone feels it—through higher costs, weaker systems, and more pressure on families.
If they want to cut spending so badly they should just axe everything including “defense,” Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid by half.

All of this tip toeing around and nobody will end up cutting anything.

Did you see those clips of Trump supporters at town halls, frantically asking their Representative what DOGE was up to? DOGE barely made any cuts and already they were scared.

DOGE is only allowed to recommend where cuts should be made by exposing what shouldn't have been spent so far, congress has to legislate them out of the budgets set for the next 20 years of global policy wanking in each society against their own people and each others societies.

Those "rich" people you despise so much and are massively JEALOUS OF, pay 90% of the taxes in this nation.

PROVEN FACT you pissants continue to ignore. VERY FEW on Medicaid are paying income taxes, DICKWEED seeing how TRUMP'S TAX CUTS nearly eliminated taxes for people that qualify for Medicaid. Income levels needed to qualify are BELOW the tax levels in almost EVER SINGLE CASE. States set the income limits for eligibility for Medicaid, NOT the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT- a FACT you didn't know, ASSHOLE!!

Just goes to show how **** STUPID you really are, DICKWEED TRANNY!!

So if Medicaid is cut, then you will have to pay higher premiums because hospitals still have to take care of these patients. The hospitals will drive up costs across the board to make up the lost revenue from Medicaid. Your insurance will pay that...which means you will pay more. The cost of our taxes on it is far less than what our insurance premiums will end up being.
That's the hospital's choice.  They are not forced to provide services to those who don't pay.

As for Medicaid being cut - it needs to be, there is far too much waste in that system.  Same with Medicare and even the Military.

Actually, by law, they are.

The Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act (EMTALA) requires hospitals participating in Medicare to provide a medical screening examination to anyone requesting it, and to stabilize any emergency medical condition discovered.

You specific national but omit local, city, county, state, global parallel taxes on the same personal income and paying in sales taxes after income taxes.

What they sell pays the taxes by the people believing now isn't eternity and life never exceeds adapting to the moment here.

Hell of a secret, isn't it? Being alive eternally separated in plain sight your own brain knows and not allowed to discuss it anywhere, with anyone, or else.

Then.....don't.......accept.......medicare.

Also, they get reimbursed through a Medicaid program to the extent the patient is not insured or the medical services are not coverd.
