Regardless whether I personally believe or not has nothing to do with people that will do their damndest to make some **** happen because some near-caveman said it would.
I won't argue with you about that. Basically, I wouldn't chalk up Israel's invasion of Iran to prophecy......

but, I could be wrong?? Image    Here is what I know as 100%, unquestionable facts:
  • I am not a prophet
  • I cannot predict the future with absolute certainty
  • I can only guess at what will happen in the future
  • Sometimes, I'm a good guesser
  • Other times, I'm not a good guesser
  • I know what I know
  • Everything else is Faith.
Anyone want to debate this???

What's to debate about that?
You basically said you guess at stuff like anyone else. And sometimes you nail it.
As blanket coverage you claim to believe in stuff, too.

Sounds you're admitting to be a human being. Where's my greenies?
Please seat yourself.

You're exactly right.  And, like most humans, I might even ignore my wrong guesses from time to time, unless one of you catchs me doing this.

I've never seen BV want to debate. He thinks he's some kind of master at asking false-premised questions. What he is a master at is showcasing his stupidity.

Human nature is to avoid looking mistake-prone.

It's amusing when someone starts boasting about a lottery ticket "win".
When I have the chance, I always ask how much that $50 cost them.
The dumb people clam up and the smart(er) ones openly admit it cost way more than the $50.

Even here in Anonymous Land, we fight having to admit a flaw.
Weird, but that's one of the biggest things in a chatroom.  :faint:
Please seat yourself.

This is why I enjoy your responses. They are factual and to the point.

So, let's recap the Ignorance here...shall we.

BV posted...Only the zealously stupid, like zeet and a few other local dim lights, believe that 1.87 has any meaning beyond the symbolic. Supply/Demand stooges who believe POTUS can control oil prices.........

Then he posted....Grifty was the entire reason gas went to 4.50 this year.

That is human nature - to avoid looking mistake-prone. I won't pretend to fully understand it either. Seems we avoid being tagged with a mistake almost as much as we try to avoid death. Even when, both are inevitable.
