As in "so **** g'ddammned stupid they should have been smothered in their cribs".

Nod.

During the 2024 campaign, President Trump excoriated all "illegals," calling them "animals" and claiming they were "poisoning the blood of our country." Appearing on NBC's Meet the Press, Trump said his goal was to deport every undocumented immigrant in the country. "I think you have to do it," Trump said. "They came in illegally."

In late May, top Trump aide Stephen Miller directed U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to increase arrests to 3,000 per day — roughly triple the agency's previous high-water mark. (Probably because Grifty was making so many "deals")The directive prompted ICE to begin targeting workplaces in industries known to employ a large number of undocumented workers, including agriculture, construction, hospitality, and textiles.

Duh!

Then, Trump abruptly changed his policy. In a Truth Social post last week, Trump said his "very aggressive policy on immigration" was taking "very good, long time workers" away from the agricultural and hospitality industries. These workers, Trump said, are "almost impossible to replace." Therefore, "Changes are coming!"

Two days later, on June 12, a senior ICE official, Tatum King, sent a message to ICE staff formalizing the new policy: "Effective today, please hold on all work site enforcement investigations/operations on agriculture (including aquaculture and meat packing plants), restaurants and operating hotels." There is an exception for investigations involving "human trafficking, money laundering, drug smuggling into these industries." But even in those cases "noncriminal collaterals" — any undocumented workers who are not implicated in a crime — are to be left alone.

BIG thread FAIL. I'm through with this failed thread.

So, let's recap the Ignorance here...shall we.

BV posted...Only the zealously stupid, like zeet and a few other local dim lights, believe that 1.87 has any meaning beyond the symbolic. Supply/Demand stooges who believe POTUS can control oil prices.........

Then he posted....Grifty was the entire reason gas went to 4.50 this year.

So Grifty proposes something stupid, is told by a lot of people that it is stupid, confesses that it is stupid, announces that changes are coming to stupid, announces these changes to stupid, then walks back the non stupid to reimpose the stupid.

But I'm the "moron"?
