Local, state, and federal law enforcement officers who cover their faces while conducting official business could face a misdemeanor charge in California under a new proposal announced Monday. The bill would require all law enforcement officials show their faces and be identifiable by their uniform, which should carry their name or other identifier. It would not apply to the National Guard or other troops and it exempts SWAT teams and officers responding to natural disasters.State Sen. Scott Wiener, a Democrat representing San Francisco, and State Sen. Jesse Arreguin, a Democrat representing Berkeley and Oakland, said the proposal seeks to boost transparency and public trust in law enforcement. It also looks to protect against people trying to impersonate law enforcement, they said.

Put aside the fact that Ca can’t regulate Fedeal agents, we have to remember that there are organizations out there doxxing ICE agents.  Dems are **** morons,

Does this mean that people can rip the masks off of protesters with fish-hook embedded netting?  You know, where someone sews 100 3-prong fish-hooks into netting attached to a piece of rope to rip the masks off of protesters?  Or, where the fish-hook netting is thrown over the heads of protesters?Image

In the real world there used to be such a thing a judge calling out a frivolous lawsuit.
People would acknowledge his judgement and let the case die its natural death by ignoring it.

Likewise, a frivolous protest needs a similar call. And MOST protests these days are frivolous.

I would NOT appreciate a true grassroots movement being "National Guarded to death" simply because a politico says so. It can't be that easy to pull that trigger. Or at least shouldn't be. That should considered be a very serious decision.
Using treble hooks on fellow citizens' faces should be considered seriously too even if half the **** idiots seem to already have some installed.
Please seat yourself.

I like the very things you hate.

Ok.  Maybe that's a bit extreme.
