Bubble Boy BV is trying to cleverly suggest that if just 1 out of 1000 murder charges are unjust...then you have to totally disregard the 999 charges that are 100% correct.

Juneteenth is short for June Nineteenth. Since 2021, it's been a  U.S. holiday that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. It specifically marks June 19, 1865, the day that Union General Gordon Granger arrived in Galveston, Texas and announced to enslaved African Americans that they were free...two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation had been issued by Lincoln on January 1, 1863.

I read quite a bit about the civil war. It's history is very much relevant today. I voted the first yes because people forget the obvious-that about 600k white people died in a very bloody and gory manner to free the slaves.

If this holiday were something serious and not a spurious sop intended to mock black people and annoy white people, it would be celebrated on December 6 - a day that will live in infamy. That's when the 13th Amendment was ratified, ending slavery as a lawful institution in the United States of America. Some *** landing in Galveston is like some island-bound jappo finally learning twenty years late that world war II had ended. Movie of the week fodder, MAYBE. Cause for a federal holiday? Give me a **** break.   

And couching the day in childish faux-ebonics? Juneteenth? Like I say - the mockery and patronizing could not be more obvious. It is intended as an insult to blacks and whites alike. They want us whites to roll our eyes, and they want blacks to defend it reflexively - but with no real conviction. It's how they roll. They love to sow racial division, and they absolutely love to patronize and insult blacks at every opportunity.

I can guarantee you that if they made the passage of the 13th Amendment a hoiliday, whites would NOT roll their eyes. Whites would almost universally support such a holiday as worthy of rememberance. And they very much want the opposite - for whites to mock and dismiss and resent this stupid-assed holiday. And they want to pretend that our perfectly natural contempt for this contrived and ridiculous holiday is "ray ciss." It's how they keep us at each others' throats.
