The northern border of Montana touched all but one of those provinces. Would be very interesting to see what could develop economically or otherwise. If they are serious about this, they need to make it happen while Trump is still president. They really don't need Eastern Canada/Onterio for anything. They could stand as a territories of the US on their own with a trade agreement in place with the US.
Sort of like becoming a "prospect" for the Hell's Angels. Before they commit to becoming states, they should try it out for a specified period of time as territories.

reminds me of a friend's visit from California who brought some weed when it was first being legally marketed there...
met him in town about 15 minutes from home...we did the usual, drank a few and then smoked some... I hadn't smoked in years besides that **** was off the charts...
on the way home around midnight, there's a lone traffic light midway...it's a highway, so I'm doing 60, the light turns yellow a half mile out, so I start being proactive and let the foot off the gas...
well, I must've zoned out, because when I came to, the light was green, I'm still a quarter mile out, I look at the speedometer and I'm doing 20! I yelled ****! l looked around and in the mirror...thankfully no one was in sight...man, did I beat *** home...

when I was about 17 I had one of the best laughs of my life while sitting in traffic court waiting for my case to be called.That's when the Judge beckoned this real fried looking Hippy to approach the bench to have his case heard by one and all.
This was the guy who was ticketed for sitting through 5 or 6 consecutive traffic light changes while a traffic cop watched the whole thing.
The Judge was having a hard time reading the charges while holding back a belly laugh and by now the entire court room is roaring with laughter.
The more the Hippy tried pleading his case, the funnier it got.
This case was timely because I think it put the Judge into a good mood before he got to mine which was "Engaging in a speed contest" and "Exhibition of Speed" [which was a fancy way of saying the guy did a burnout].
I beat the exhibition of speed charge because I told the judge there was no way the cop heard me smoking the tires over the roar of my uncapped headers.
He bought that excuse, [the cop wasn't there to argue] but the Judge sentenced me and the guy I was drag racing against to wash cop cars on a Saturday . This **** actually came up a year later when the Army was getting me set up with a security clearance.

People might call me "up tight". But, when I was in Amsterdam I refused to do a whore, even though my friend did. And, I refuse to smoke Marijuana.
