I don't know a time in history where the dimocrat party was this helplessly laid out on the boxing canvas. They are approaching the 10 count unless they find a way to get back up.
Even just after the civil war, they had more power than they do now. They received a huge blow when the South lost. However, they still managed to fight other ways- which they came out victoriously. Politically and economically. They circumvented the amendments created in the reconstruction program. They were able to drain the federal government of money by inducing reckless violent havoc. They created the KKK to help. Which worked. They were still able to meet their agendas, though they had to do it differently.
Today, they are down. They just can't get back up.
