Hi Ghetto. Good to see you, sir. I have to respectfully disagree. The spin that the whitehouse is giving is that they are weeding out the fraudulent recipients. Which is great. Who would disagree with that? However, with this part of the bill, it is not going to do that without cutting the innocent ones out along with it. It's like knowing that there are criminals residing in a certain area, so to make sure they get them, they bomb the whole village. Well...yes. They will definitely get the criminals, but they will also annihilate the women and children along with it. The restrictions they are using will squeeze out the innocent families as well as the criminals. 

For example, a single mother with young children must login 80 hrs a month of work. That is fine in a good economy. However, when the economy is in the slumps, which does happen. most single mothers aren't going to find a full time job. They will work two part time jobs. Part time jobs don't have to promise 20hrs a week. They can cut those hours without notice. No fault of the mother. Therefore, when they need the assistance the most, they will have it removed. The bill cuts state waiver powers during times of high unemployment, meaning families cannot be protected when jobs are scarce. 

That is just one example. There are many others.

We will see what is really going to happen with this bill

Going after snap and Medicaid could cost republicans votes

Once people find out that the “no tax on tips” is capped at 10K could piss some off

The hospitals and food banks are terrified of what is to come

Going after low income programs instead of waste at the pentagon, and corporate welfare

And tax cuts for people that make north of 50 million a year might rub people the wrong way

They seem to forget that we have a lot of poor folks that are on the right too

It ain’t just lefties that need a little help

Like I said … we will find out how this all shakes out
