In April 2025, Treasury collected $850.2 billion in receipts, while the Trump administration only spent $591.8 billion. The result: A $285.4 billion surplus.

And that was only Trump’s third month in office!

It’s an incredibly positive sign, but unfortunately, one month isn’t enough to offset the catastrophic, runaway spending that exploded under Joe Biden. Between October 1 last year and April 30 this year, the US government brought in $3.1 trillion in revenue. But the Biden regime spent $4.1 trillion, which means there was still a $1 trillion deficit that President Trump was saddled with.

Still, the fact that Trump’s policies are turning this trend around so quickly is amazing. Employers added 147,000 new jobs in June, which was far higher than expectations. Those jobs all went to American citizens, rather than the Biden trend in which all new job growth for four years went to foreign-born workers and illegal aliens. Meanwhile, the federal government’s payroll shrank by another 7,000 jobs in June.

ADD to that the FACT, that the tariffs are ONLY about 20% implemented, the economy has not even yet BEGUN to grow to the 3-4% GDP that's expected, DOGE waste & abuse is NO WHERE NEAR fully implemented, AND the DISMANTLING of the Deep State has ONLY JUST begun... when everything is in place... EXPECT TRILLIONS in surpluses to show up, and the DEFICIT/DEBT reductions making significant progress... EVERY YEAR !

UNTIL, that is, another IDIOT Democrat President is elected (GOD FORBID)... THEN, the debt & deficits will start GROWING again, and Democrats will try to BLAME it ALL on Donald Trump !!
AMERICA, and AMERICANS, NEED to WAKE up… There is NOTHING “Democratic” about the CURRENT American “Democrat Party”! THEY are more an amalgamation of Totalitarian Marxists, Socialists, Communists, and Globalists… who are BENT on TAKING, and then KEEPING power... & where ultimately the American PEOPLE will have NO SAY AT ALL in how we are GOVERNED... and our "Democracy" will be DEAD!!

You are referring to an annual surplus. The OP is about a monthly one that was the 2nd biggest in history. As always, you deflect away from the OPs whenever Trump does something good.

Do you know what a surplus even is? I bet you are as clueless to that meaning as you are about survivorship bias.
