I have always had my skepticism about this guy since I heard of him in when he founded Tesla. Back then there was a lot of talk about this guy. It's like he just popped out of the ether. I know we have his history, but something has just never set right with me about the guy.
I don't think he some tech genius. I don't think he is even a genius on any level. Have you heard him speak? Highly intelligent people are articulate and eloquent. He talks like some surfer or a fraternity dude. His emotional IQ is no better.
It would make more sense if there was another group, hidden in the shadows somewhere, that was responsible for his rise to riches and power.

my DIL's brother and wife are both on the spectrum...he's a chemist for Hershey's and she's a brain surgeon...he's not too bad, but she is totally socially awkward...
