Sir, I think you need to up your game.  You are making me yawn.

Just curious Mr Vegetable.  You seem like a lonely person who needs companionship.  Have you tried your local church?  How about this.  The Salem Senior Services Division:
  • Aquarobics (at the Salem Athletic Club - special pricing for Ingram Senior Center members)
  • Golf
  • Horseshoes
  • Pickleball
  • Tennis
  • Zumba Gold (at the Salem Athletic Club - special pricing for Ingram Senior Center members)

Here is one.  You are such an entertaining poster when you are melting down.  Your attempts, Mr vegetable, while feeble, are kinda cute.

And Sir, any post where you edit another posters quote is sure sign things are not going your way.

That's done.

Mr. Vegetable, are you able to now distinguish between an FMJ round that is optimized for the military and a the more powerful hollow points it is recommended that civilians use for defense?

Sir, I have to test not only your comprehension, because the info has been provided, but your knowledge just tone certain you are intellectually capable of participating and giving meaningful contributions to the topic.

Tiny,

This article describes the many variations of the Colt AR-15 and M16 rifle family of weapons produced by Colt's Manufacturing Company. Weapons patterned on the original ArmaLite AR-15 design

Mr. Perv, oops, my sincerest apology, I mean Mr Vegetable, the question put to you is not about the Colt AR 15.  The thread is not about Colt AR 15.  There is no shame in not being able to understand the subject matter.  Sometimes the greater part of valor is learning when to bow out.  I mean it is ok that you do not know about things like aviation, helicopters, the military, firearms, driving, muscle car maintenance, etc.  But your problem is you dig your hole deeper with each succeeding post.

I say this, sir, because I pity you. I don't want you to keep looking bad. Hell, often do you see me discussing religion, or deep in the weeds on monetary policy, or even investing?  I know more about those topics than you know about the ones I mentioned for you but not enough to debate the points.

Thanks BV for allowing us the more power round.  Although he is speaking of an actual firearm he now claims he meant the round.

My logic is that, like the Colt AR-15, it was designed and optimized for combat.

Accordingly, they are inappropriate for civilian use.

Mr Blacvkvegetable, that is a  Henry Big Boy 45 Long Colt. The rounds it uses and the weapon itself was optimized for combat.  Using your logic, LIKE the 9 mil, it is inappropriate for civilian use.

Fortunately in this country federal law is not retroactive and I a ban was ever successful mine would be grandfathered in.

Mr Veggie,

That is a Smith & Wesson M&P .45 ACP.  The weapon itself is not military issue and never was, because it is a compact with a 7 round magazine.  BUT, the round, .45 ACP, WAS optimized for combat.

Using your logic that weapon is not appropriate for civilian lose.

If it was a non government agency, like the DNC itself and the Clinton campaign, you would be correct.  BUT the allegations are the administration was involved, meaning the FED GOV was involved in attempting to influence an election.

Mr Vegetable, the purpose of you post escapes me.  Perhaps you would be kind enough to post the link.  Is there something you are hiding?

Sir, the following is a the M9 Berretta.  It used to be military issue for Avn Crewmembers, Tankers, officers, etc and those who did not carry an M16 in combat.  Using your logic it is not appropriate for civilian use.

While I don't own that one I do have MANY years of shooting expert with it.
