Sir, with respect, you should check your history.  Go ahead and look up Robert Byrd (the racist) arrest republicans 1988 and get me.  Or the recent history of Texas Dems in this regard.

Naive know-it-alls claim stuff is unprecedented mischief all the time. It ain't.

Most of the time political dirty tricks can be found to have been tried before.
Unsavory **** is the hallmark of politics.

Mr. Lincoln's time was quite tricky, false stories, some ploys...
Nothing new in that sphere. Even for Honest Abe.

And respectfully, I appreciate the data check. I do recall something now. It does give me reason for hope I am wrong.

I just don't remember congressional representatives seeking asylum in other states. And those states saying they will protect them from The Project 2025 Gulag.

I got Jury Duty.  Everybody is rigged corrupted and conflicted.  I am gonna tell the judge it is impossible for me to be partial in this political climate and do some day drinking.

Their have been a couple of states that have done it in the past ten years or so.
