Of course it's fake news.....

July 1, 2020

NAFTA no longer exists as of July 1, 2020, when it was replaced by the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). This new agreement aims to create a more balanced and equitable trading system for the three countries involved. NAFTA was in effect from 1994 to 2020 and was known for its positive economic impacts, but it also faced significant shortcomings, including negative effects on small businesses and job losses in certain sectors.

Okay, that was MY bad - not the site's bad. I made the headline.

But there actually was some fake news in the vid. According to AI, the "Aguilar Corridor" isn't a thing. But AI does confirm that Mexicoand Canada are strengthening bilateral relations in a manner which cuts the US out of much of the trade between them, obviating the USMCA.

It does not matter HOW much things are interconnected, if oneof the connections is entirely and fatally unreliable.

THAT is what cannot last long - not the work around.

If it does not last long, it will not be because "stuff is too interconnected." It will be because Trump changes his diaper and mends his fences. Canada and Mexico are quite literally being forced by Trump's tariff tantrums and instability to look for workarounds. And once workarounds have been established and INVESTED IN, they will very likely stand the test of time due to the incentives running that way. You force people to absorb the upfront costs of a change they never wanted, and they're not likely to absorb the upfront costs of changing back to a system that they would be retarded to trust again.

Excellent point...According to AI, the "Aguilar Corridor" isn't a thing. I had read that earlier too. Anyway, we will know more as the "deal" is supposed to go into effect in 2028.

I'm just not sure this deal will be necessary....

I've seen that as well. But the issue isn't just the tariffs. The issue that Canada and Mexico and the entire world is dealing with is that in trade, predictability is king over everything. And Trump is less predictable than the weather on the plains. His craziness is **** up markets.

By then, sea level will be 20 feet higher - mostly because of OUR lack of faith in the science.

If only we'd have believed, we'd have been spared.

Yet and still, Trump's behavior CAN make people afraid to make any long term deals with the USA. And when it comes to trade, nations REQUIRE secure, long term deals. Trump is making joey biden look easy to deal with.

The markets need to be shaken up. TRUMP is putting America first in every way.

Trump should scare piss out of a lot of people.
That's what we're paying him for. ;)

Biden did that too. For completely different reasons though.

That's objectively false.

He is putting israel first in every way. He bombed a country for them. That's an act of war - you can google it. I dare you. Google it. Bombing someone's country is an act of war.

Pretend someone bombed our country. \

See that?

Act of war.

Putting the US at risk of war for israel isn't putting America first - in any way.
