yes and this should have ended in may but trump got dollar signs in his eyes and instead of trying to bring peace he made a financial deal.

  • Potential Benefits for Ukraine:
The deal is seen as a way for Ukraine to rebuild its economy, modernize its military, and potentially secure its future against Russian aggression.
  • The deal emerged from months of negotiations between the two countries, with the U.S. seeking access to Ukraine's mineral wealth and Ukraine seeking continued U.S. support.

And if the money grew on trees we would all be rich.  But then again bread would cost 750 a loaf.

I don't think that we should have gotten involved in the first place. However, if Russia takes Ukraine, then they would make it difficult for the UN Charter and other treatise to enforce Russia's ownership over them. There will be sanctions implemented, but I think between Russia, China, and the NGOs, they would circumvent the UN treatises, and profit heavily. They have a history of not caring about international laws.

instead signing the mineral deal with ukraine trump should have told ukraine they can't join nato which ukraine cant join anyway. that may have stopped the war back then.
