I just looked up a YouTube video on which water filters are ideal. It’s actually much harder than it seems, because I have to suss out if the reviews are objective and not just paid affiliate marketing programs (a test I believe 85% of ppl here would fail).
One comment said this:
Turns out the EPA has been quietly lifting the standards for maximum permissible concentration of contaminants every year (kind of like how they do “hedonic adjustments” where the basket of goods to measure En-Flay-Shun change every year).
This allows cities and municipalities to spend less money on water quality / treatment, whilst claiming the tap water is “safe” - something nobody except the retards believe.

used to be, when you bought a fishing license, they gave you a copy of “eating advisory”
they haven’t done that for years in Ohio , you have to look it up
most fish are “once a week “ many are “once a month”, some are “never”
because of PCBs, PHSs, and Mercury
there is a section of the river by me that they recommend “do not wade or swim”
it has been that way since I moved here in the early 80s
seems that they could have found the culprit by now
look up “eating advisory” in your state

We get our drinking water from the water store, 13 stage filtration. Better than most bottled waters.
