Damn...  Yeah, I grew uo in the liberal beltway bubble in a public school.   There were no drag queens or eyeballing junk, not even any Gym Jordan Shower Sexcapades in the locker room.  No child sex abuse of students by teachers that I knew of.. The only reason I knew about homsexuality was that Mom ran a travelling theatre that went to the schools.  It was not openly discussed in any way, but somehow I became aware that one of the male actors was not heterosexual.  I had a lot of exposure to culture through Mom's enthusiasm for public theatre.  Sister married her husband that she met in theatre and they ran a theatre in a major childrens theatre in their careers.  So I am acutely aware of the formation of thought through arts in children.  I was a victim or a benificiary of the knowledge. From what you are saying you went through, I can understand your persepctive I was a victim of the liberal arts.  You are hinting your ezpereince sounds pretty darnn traumatic.  Have you said it was a Christian School?  Man, I am sorry for anything bad that happened and can understand how such a negative happening can lead to your view points on society. At least you seem to have recovered, and while we may not agree on everything, I do respect your morality and your diligence to pursue positive outcomes for others beyond yourself.

I was gonna say..   The teacher could have told the obnoxious kid..  "Why do you have to behave like burnt equine apple pie all the time?"  We understand the kid can test peoples nerves, but  wasthe teacher one word away from saying "Suck My Dick".  I don't think I extend that invitation to anyone in anger.
