I learned a long time ago,  anyone who claims to be an expert probably isn't. If you invest in a single expert you are stupid.

It is looking pretty dismal at work at the moment. Nothing is coming down our pipeline.  The uncertainity has cancelled some orders.  Our sister facility in Canada is in full rock and roll mode.  You might get your wish for me to leave.

I ain't clicking no links if I can't share one. If you want to put the effort in to cut and paste some of the subject here I might be able to participate in your discussion.

He has never managed a damn thing. Should be retired by now, but it's evident he has not managed his investments, so he still has to work. He might be working to pay off his grandkids student loans that he co-signed for.  They thought they didn't have to pay it back, but TRUMP says differently.

Tariff restoration: Reinstated 25% tariffs on steel and aluminum to protect U.S. industries.

AI OverviewYes, the Biden administration has continued and in some cases adjusted the Section 232 tariffs on steel and aluminum that were initially implemented under the Trump administration

Specifically:
  • The Biden administration continued the global Section 232 tariffs on steel and aluminum but has applied less restrictive tariff-rate quotas to imports from certain allied countries.
  • In October 2021, a deal was announced between the United States and the European Union to suspend tariffs on steel and aluminum, subject to certain volume restrictions and a new system of bilateral tariff rate quotas (TRQs). This means that European metal exports are subject to zero US tariffs up to a certain volume, with a 25% tariff applying beyond that amount.
  • The Biden administration has also focused on addressing concerns about the evasion of these tariffs, particularly by China, through transshipment via countries like Mexico. In July 2024, the administration unveiled new tariffs targeting Chinese-made steel and aluminum imported through Mexico to address these concerns.
  • In April 2024, the Biden administration announced new measures to protect the US steel, aluminum, and shipbuilding industries, citing unfair trade practices by China. This included considering tripling the existing Section 301 tariffs on Chinese steel and aluminum and intensifying efforts to combat alleged transshipment through Mexico.

Uh Oh.. Sole's Girlfriend is going psycho, she already has dementia.. Humans drove her crazy..

AI Overview
No, the Trump administration did not exist in 2025 and therefore could not have made changes to steel and aluminum tariffs in that year. The Trump administration's actions regarding steel and aluminum tariffs were in 2018. The information regarding tariffs in 2025 pertains to a hypothetical "second Trump administration" that is not currently in power.
The Trump Administration's Real Steel & Aluminum Tariffs
In 2018, the Trump administration imposed a 25% tariff on steel imports and a 10% tariff on aluminum imports.
The 2025 Scenario in the Search Result
The search result describes changes to tariffs in 2025 under a "second Trump administration," which implies a hypothetical future administration.
In this hypothetical scenario, a universal 10% tariff was announced on April 2, 2025, and took effect on April 5, 2025.

It's even better than you thought from your perspective.. It's gonna run my joint into the ground.

AI Overview
As of August 2025, the US has increased steel and aluminum import tariffs to 50% for most countries, effective June 4, 2025, under Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act. These tariffs, applied by President Trump, also include derivative products containing these metals and apply to most countries except for a few exceptions, though details are rapidly changing. This move aims to protect the domestic steel and aluminum industries from unfair trade practices and excess global capacity.
