Serious question: what traumatic event compelled you to major in 19th Century Russian Studies? Was it a dare, a lost bet, or did your guidance counselor just hate you? Like, did someone look you in the eye and say, ‘You know what would really spice up your resume? Reading 800 pages of Tolstoy just to explain unemployment with more nuance. 

I assume it wasn’t employment opportunities, so was it just the vodka?

I think it had to do with the the fact he just wanted to skate and do not much of anything for 4 years while living off of a legacy admission and daddy's money.

I guess you never saw The Hunt For Red October?  There are employment opportunities in understanding adversaries. Jack Ryan was a specialist in Russian Studies, and he is the hero of the book and movie. Understanding Russia's past is part of the big picture.    

Look at the 18 year old kids getting onboard ICE for the 50K sign on bonus to fight the normal Americans that get called "The Enemy Within" And they ain't got jack shyt for education.

I am watching how Epstein dropped out of college and got super rich. He could not hold the jobs he had early in his career and faked his resume to get a job teaching mathematics. What is even more shameful is that a university would even offer that as a degree. They will do anything if it brings in money.
