Disability is another form of Universal Basic Income.
You can get Disability if you are actually disabled, or, if you have no personal honor or dignity, just pretend. Its been a thing I've seen my entire life growing up in working poor white neighborhoods. Most people just keep working, but some just give up and sham.
"Disability" is also a terrible problem in the Veteran community, and its pretty much an untouchable topic. Democrats love it, because its the trigger they're going to use to disarm veterans "when the time is right" and Republicans wont touch it as veterans are a bedrock of their voter base.
I know too many Veterans who are perfectly capable of working, are working high paying jobs, while still getting "100% disability" payments.
These same people pesker me to "get on disability" because its "easy money". I refuse because I wasn't disabled due to my service (I'm also not disabled, full stop...). Do I have vision and hearing problems, yeah, because I'm getting old. If you can work, and deal with life, its completely immoral to make other people pay you so you can live easy.
How noble…if only the majority of nonwhite groups and a certain cabal felt the same way.
