Based on recent news reports, he has been seen at a cabinet meeting at the White House and also appeared with the President of South Korea on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. 
Further reports suggest that he has made additional public appearances, including:

• Signing executive orders in the Oval Office, one of which addressed cashless bail in Washington D.C.
• Meeting with the families of service members killed during the Afghanistan withdrawal and signing a proclamation marking the fourth anniversary of the attack on Abbey Gate at Kabul airport.
