As of the evening of September 1, 2025, Donald Trump did not have any public speaking engagements scheduled for today, which is Labor Day.
While there were no rallies or speeches, he did make other public statements during the day, including:
Announcing an honor for Rudy Giuliani: Through a post on social media, Trump announced that he would be awarding the Presidential Medal of Freedom to former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
Issuing a Labor Day statement: The White House website published an article by President Trump regarding his administration's policies for American workers.
Addressing voter ID: Trump indicated his plans to issue an executive order requiring voter identification for all U.S. elections in a social media post on Saturday night.
