- Romeca Meeks, a 31-year-old mother, was fatally shot in the face while dropping her son off at school in the South Loop area.
- The altercation reportedly involved another woman, identified on social media as Holly Johnson, who allegedly ran to her car, retrieved a gun, and shot Meeks during a heated fight.
- A man—believed to be the father of both women’s children—was allegedly involved in restraining Meeks during the confrontation.
