Some countries IN nato - like Germany, back when it had an economy - were buying Russian oil. Now they pay three times as much for energy from the US.
The US played Europe like a fiddle and made it a captive customer at thrice the price. Their economies are ****. Now we're bullying them into buying more toys from the MIC.
The only country in NATO still getting meaningless (to Russia) amount of Russian energy is Hungary.
Hungary is "Land-Locked" no Coast Line..golfboy » 14 Sep 2025, 6:05 pm » wrote: ↑ Hungary: 5 million tonnes of Russian crude oil in 2024. TASS+3Interfax+3Interfax+3
In first five months of 2025, ~2.196 million tonnes Russian crude to Hungary vs ~1.703 million in same period 2024. cirec.net
Value of “mineral fuels, oils, distillation products” imports from Russia in 2024: US$5.25 billion.
Turkey has bought ≈ $62 billion of oil from Russia (in addition to other energy) over a recent multi‑year period (from Jan 2023–July 2025). Newsweek
In 2024, Turkey imported 225,000 barrels per day of Russian oil (crude + products) as one estimate. Finway
In April 2025, Russian oil products imports to Turkey dropped ~25% year‑on‑year; first four months of 2025: ~US$3.3 billion worth of Russian oil products.
So in a FREE MARKET, Europewould be buying from Russia. Because it is the cheapest by several times.TwoIfByTea » 14 Sep 2025, 5:25 pm » wrote: ↑ Part of Trumps plan to "Reduce" Trade Defecits is through exports of USA produced Oil and Natural Gas which hold very vast "Reserves" of Both..

Russia just has tons of pipelines running from Production Fields directly to Europe already and been that way going back "Former Soviet Union" and pipe-lines direct distribution way "Cheaper" than USA "LNG"
Less than one percent of production.golfboy » 14 Sep 2025, 6:05 pm » wrote: ↑ Hungary: 5 million tonnes of Russian crude oil in 2024. TASS+3Interfax+3Interfax+3

Take Saudia Arabia and Others like Dubai the "United Emerites" and Quatar..
Back during the 1970s Oil Embargo we negotioated defense and weapons sales to their Kingdoms in return they agreed Sell their oil "exclusively" in USA Dollars and invest their reserves buying up our Bonds/Treasuries hence the "Petro/Dollar" was "Born" half a Century ago..
Since the 1970s we have found vast new "Domestic" Resveres of Oil as well as new extration technology..
We do not really need their oil anymore like back them days.
But still in our National "Interests" to maintain the "Petro Dollar" as well as Allied Military Cooperation and weapons deals to this very day

India's state refiners halt Russian oil purchases:
Hindustan Times By HT News Desk 8/1/25
India's refiners have not purchased Russian oil for the last week, marking a dramatic turn in one of Moscow's strongest energy relationships since the onset war in Ukraine, Reuters reported.
Over the past month, India along with China and Brazil, has been at the centre of criticism from the West, for its purchase of Russian oil. Indian Oil Corp, Hindustan Petroleum Corp, Bharat Petroleum Corp and Mangalore Refinery Petrochemical Ltd are the state refiners in the country that have not acquired Russian crude in the last week or so, four sources, who were aware of the refiners' buying plans, told the news agency. India, the world's third-largest oil importer, is the biggest buyer of seaborne Russian crude, a vital revenue earner for Russia. Russia, is India's leading supplier, with around 35% of India's total supplies.
Why India halted purchases of oil from Russia.
The action follows narrowing price discounts on Russian crude and renewed threats from US President Donald Trump to impose punitive tariffs on countries buying oil from Moscow, the agency reported. With discounts now at their lowest since 2022, India's economic rationale for importing from Moscow has weakened. India is substituting Russia with alternative sources to meet the supply deficit, sources said.
Indian state refiners halt Russian oil imports as US threatens penalty:
State-run refiners in India have halted Russian oil purchases in the past week due to shrinking discounts and mounting pressure from President Donald Trump's threats of tariffs and sanctions.

So genius, are you ready to give it up to Trump for the successful policy to starve Russia's revenue in order to bring them to the negotiating table to end the war? Or can we expect your insane hatred of Trump to continue unabated simply because you're a lying, uneducated moron?Beijing slams Trump's call for NATO countries to stop buying Russian oil, hit China with heavy tariffs
The Associated Press 9/13/25
Britain's taken action on Russian oil trading
The US and its allies are seeking to show a firmer degree of resolve against Russia.
Britain took steps to penalize the trading of Russian oil, including a ban on 70 vessels allegedly used in its transportation. The UK also sanctioned 30 individuals and companies, included businesses based in China and Turkey, that have supplied Russia with electronics, chemicals, explosives and weapons components.
In his Saturday post, Trump said a NATO ban on Russian oil plus tariffs on China would "also be of great help in ENDING this deadly, but RIDICULOUS, WAR."
He said NATO members should put heavy tariffs on China and withdraw them if there's an end to the war.
"China has a strong control, and even grip, over Russia," Trump's post says, and powerful tariffs "will break that grip."
The US has already imposed a 25% import tax on goods from India, specifically for its buying of Russian energy.
So that trade talks could proceed, the US lowered its tariffs against China to a still-high 30%, while China took its rate to 10 per cent.
I couldn't care less whether or not Ukraine survives, but ending the war would be a huge win for Trump, obviously something a vociferous Trump hating blowhard like you can't stand.Cannonpointer » 14 Sep 2025, 5:00 pm » wrote: ↑ BRICS will tell Trump to **** off.
