Even worse heating food in microwaves in plastic containers and those chemicals leach into your food that ya eat..

Example: out west there are minnows that live and swim in water that is basically battery acid...stick your hand in and it will burn you...but not them...they have evolved to handle the situation they were given

just because a problem arises today doesn't mean it will always be a problem....nature and the world, including people evolve over time

lost of the bacteria and viruses in our body were at one time a problem but now they are essential to our lives

Yeah I have heard about stuff like that..

Frankly its only recently I have learned more about plastic and so integrated into our lives ya cant just get rid of it tommorrow just like that..

What we already have will linger for hundreds if not thousands of years.

Even your municipal recyling programs are not that effective when they dump your blue bin into that garbage truck mostly only the glass and metals are separated because those still has commodity value and the rest goes to the landfills becase plastics too many differnt kinds they cant be reprocessed as easily..

Really your towns recyling program is more about giving you "peace of mind" basically
