I don't understand why it's so hard to understand. People whined about Kimmel being cancelled...cried "what about free speech?" Etc...Private industries can do what the hell they want. Especially if the speech being spewed is going to hurt their bottom line. They have a right to protect their companies and their brand. Given all of the complaints that were sent into ABC, they did the right thing by tossing Kimmel. They were just protecting the reputation of their brand. What the hell is wrong with that? Though ABC sucks anyway, it probably would not have mattered. But the point remains. 


I said the same thing about people whining about free speech and Twitter. People credit Musk for "saving free speech." ****. He didn't save anything. Twitter was a private enterprise. They can censure whatever the hell they want. Let the market decide if their censorship is appropriate...instead society allowed 42 billion dollars to decide it. 

Hate speech isn't said.....it's heard.

Lying speech is said and heard.
