1) Data centers typically hire low paid employees (janitors, security guards). 

2) The “high paying jobs” you’re thinking of but cannot explicate b/c you’re a retarded Boomer who still doesn’t know how to convert a .docx to .pdf => by the way, those professionals are data engineers, cloud engineers, and cybersecurity analysts <= are usually working remotely, they don’t actually show up on site.

3) Electricity bills are already skyrocketing thanks to Wall Street’s new playboy AI. Installing a data center in your locale would only make it worse.

4) (Last but not least)

Those jobs would just go to smelly curry N1Ggers (Indians) as nobody hires Americans anymore, so why the **** would the residents care if “jobs are created?”  

 
 

Once the data centers are built it takes almost zero staff to maintain them.

Zuckerberg is building one in Louisiana.. 3 times the size of Manhattan and uses three times as much electricity as New Orleans.

As much as I am loving the AI and the technopocalypse, the hidden costs involved are enormous. The greed isn't even justified, I am not paying a direct fee for the AI that I know of, and considering when I have to I will. The promise of profits from building the DC's is not certain. It is being describesd as a bubble.

Data center cooling is a huge piece of refrigeration pie being chased. While I help build it for food and beverage, I recognize if food was non persishable and no energy was required to store it would be better for a green solution. But I get it, dried beans are not a juice burger.

Green choices are not pallatable @LowIQTrash  ..  It is becoming "Eat **** or Die" in the ModernPocalypse. I know Bill Gates Bug Burgers sound gross, but insects are easy to farm, especially in outer space.

The Chinese government harvesting your data if you choose to use DS online version is nothing compared to the US government + Israel harvesting your data if you use one of numerous US based LLMs
