A house belonging to South Carolina Circuit Court Judge Diane Goodstein was destroyed by a fire on October 4, 2025, at Edisto Beach. Judge Goodstein was reportedly walking her dogs at the time, but three other occupants, including her husband and former State Senator Arnold Goodstein, were injured escaping the blaze. The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) is investigating the incident, and as of October 6, 2025, found no evidence of arson. 
Key details of the fire:

• Location and timing: The fire occurred on Saturday, October 4, 2025, in the Jeremy Cay gated community on Edisto Island.
• Occupant rescue:
  • The home's occupants had to jump from an elevated first floor to escape the flames.
  • Firefighters from multiple departments, including the Edisto Beach and St. Paul's Fire Districts, had to use kayaks to rescue the occupants from the marshy backyard.
  • The remoteness of the location and limited water supply presented challenges for firefighters.
• Injuries: Three people were hospitalized at the Medical University of South Carolina, with one airlifted and two others transported by ground. Former Senator Arnold Goodstein sustained significant injuries from jumping.
• Cause: While initially reported as possibly being caused by an "apparent explosion," SLED's preliminary investigation found no evidence of arson or a pre-fire explosion. The investigation is ongoing.
• Judge's recent ruling: The incident follows a high-profile ruling by Judge Goodstein in September 2025 that temporarily blocked South Carolina from providing its voter database to the U.S. Department of Justice. This ruling was later overturned by the South Carolina Supreme Court, and Goodstein had reportedly received death threats related to the case.

It could have been a gas explosion, if they had gas service.

Goldstien was on a list created by Trump as needed to be removed. The coincidence is suspicious.

How about that Judge that blocked the Portland Deployment?  Bush, Alito, and Trump all appointed her to court roles.

Leftist and minority violence is out of hand....the feds need to start putting the protestors down...humanely of course
