If we closed loopholes in the tax system, that only multimillionaires and billionaires can access, then our beloved country could gain a revenue between $500 billion to 1 trillion dollars a year. Of course, our government would just use that to partner with Israel to bomb people. Be that as it may, it would be fairer.
What Equalizing Tax Rates Could GenerateWhen I asked ChatGPT to run the numbers on what equalizing tax rates could raise, the amounts were, quite frankly, staggering. The most conservative estimate suggested that making billionaires pay taxes at the same rate as working-class Americans could generate $500 billion to $1 trillion per year in additional revenue.

I'd be down for that as long as 100% of that extra money went towards the federal debt.

Giving Congress more money is a lose lose situation!

I used agree with that Republican talking point until I decided not to be a dick about it. It may be a surprise to you but poor people don't have much money and there are damn near 40 million US citizens living at or below the federal poverty level.  ($15k for a single person)
Many of them are Seniors.

Vegas was looking for fair, that ain't it!
