Judge Aileen Cannon is a U.S. district judge appointed by Donald Trump who has presided over Trump's classified documents case and related legal matters. She gained notoriety for dismissing the classified documents case, a decision that was later appealed, and for issuing conflicting rulings regarding the release of a special counsel report on Trump's election subversion case. Cannon was also considered for the role of Attorney General by Trump.
