Mr Ozone Hole opens and closes with the seasons. 39 years ago we banned CFC's n' stuff.
Mr Hole was opening so far it couldn't close any more. Horrors!
The "healing" began and stuff continues to be banned that **** with Mr Hole.

But... Horror of horrors! We musta done sumpin wrong again...

I think one has more activity than the other.
In either case, it takes time-lapse photography to notice.

It's a weird aspect of developing technology:
We didn't know we had a problem until we invented tools to measure it.
The ozone hole "didn't exist" until the late 1970's when we put a satellite up there to look.
For all we know, the first measurement of UV in the polar regions was not normal (1956).
We assumed it was and everything since then has been abnormal because it doesn't match.

Meanwhile the Atlantic keeps getting wider and wider...
The moon keeps drifting further away...

Octopi have completely foreign DNA. Probably from space...
Russia SHOULD be a business partner and our friend, but somebody keeps **** that up.
People here in NHB have been warning about a collapse of the world as we know it for 13 years.

Looks like all of your bases are covered...well, except for;

zebra mussels
purple loosestrife 
asian beetle
burmese python
etc,
etc,
etc...
