Mamdani will try, but the effort will be short lived once the exodus of the wealthy begins, just like it's doing in California, and that's fine with me!  NY, IL, and CA will continue to lose solid blue Democrat seats in Congress which will be picked up by red states with lower taxes.  

Isn't it funny how liberals are completely unable to comprehend that, even after so much evidence exists from past experience.
And of course, that's assuming that the city assembly goes along with his communist schemes.  Right now, only the most stupid New Yorkers are anxiously awaiting those free buses, cheap government grocery stores, free daycare, handcuffing law enforcement, and rent freeze, all which will quickly cause the city to erode into criminal chaos and less housing.

Get your popcorn ready to watch the fun as another great US city crumbles under the weight of socialism.
