Stated reason for this policy is that the animals will become accustomed to being fed and dependent of the handouts...they will forget how to take care of themselves

The US Department of Agriculture congratulate themselves for providing continuous food to over 43 million dependent people who no longer know how to take care of themselves

I have one.

The budget reconciliation law enacted on July 4, 2025, raised the debt limit by $5 trillion to $41.1 trillion. Debt held by the public was $30.1 trillion and intragovernmental debt was $7.3 trillion, for a total outstanding debt of $37.4 trillion, as of September 3, 2025. As of today, over 38T. 

The guy I voted for told me he was going to lower the debt. Did you not hear Trump make that promise?
