Look...I am not advocating beating kids. But I am advocating to provide more support to teachers. I work within this industry. The teachers are treated so awfully by pretty much everyone. The parents treat them like ****. The students treat them like ****. The admins treat them like ****. Etc....All humans have a breaking point. Exactly how much disrespect and **** can one human being bear before they finally snap?

I can tell you so many stories from what I personally have witnessed. I wish teachers would do a nationwide walkout. All of them. Most of them deserve much better. Yes, I know. There are some teachers who are useless. However, they are the exception. Not the rule.

Police said the alleged "altercation between a teacher and student" took place Oct. 22 at Corydon Central High School, which is about 125 miles south of Indianapolis.In a statement, the district said that it was following standard protocol by placing the teacher involved in the alleged incident on leave until a conclusion in the investigation is reached."Once the investigation is complete, any necessary disciplinary measures and actions will be taken in accordance with the findings of the authorities. We understand this is a concerning situation and want to assure you that allegations of this nature are taken seriously," the district said. "We are unable to share additional details at this time, however please know this situation is being handled with proper care and our full cooperation."
