Let's define both first: 

Socialism: Any of various egalitarian economic and political theories or movements advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods.” (from Merriam‑Webster) Wikipedia+5merriam-webster.com

Capitalism: “An economic system in which a society’s means of production are held by private individuals or organizations, and where products, prices, and the distribution of goods are determined mainly by competition in a free market.” (from International Monetary Fund) Encyclopedia Britannica+3IMF+3merriam-webster.com+

Every system has its pros/cons. Hell, even in prison there are pros. You get free **** and your basic needs will always be cared for...but who the hell wants to live in prison? There is one defect in both systems that make us inherently screwed...concentration of wealth and opportunities in the hands of the few. Both have this flaw.

• Under socialism ,wealth is concentrated in the state and bureaucrats. 
• Under capitalism, wealth is concentrated in wealthy elites and major corporations.

Therefore, neither is ideal for the people as a whole. So what is the answer? Beats me. Maybe we should just realize that the only way to be truly free is to live out in the woods and live off the land.

Socialism is based on ideology, capitalism is based on economic outcomes tomorrow being different results since yesterday dawn to dusk. To top that off is opposing seasons each side off the equator daily with as many temperate zones horizontally as their are time zones vertically.

Now when does tomorrow intellectually exist in the souls saving humanity every geographical day by longitude and latitude ancestrally displaced?

12 hours AM are longitude 180 until rotation at mid night happens longitude 0/360 Greenwich Prime Meridian is noon or mid night every rotation each revolution around the star every 1461 rotations every 4 years intellectually recorded since dawn of civilization last 7,000 years humanity defines life beyond genetic outcomes alive daily here since inception of ever changing population as shaped and form ancestrally displaced now..

Sit around and jealously bitch about everybody. Piss and moan about rich people.
Meanwhile, getting an answer about "What's the end game?" is **** depressing.

But this is exactly what we have now. The government and the corporations are partners. They control almost everything.

There will always be the powerful few. There will always be the few that will never accept it.

In between those know-it-alls is the vast majority listening to the never-ending squabble.

I never said capitalism doesn't bring innovation and wealth. I am claiming that it brings wealth only to a few. How do you or any other American benefit from space X ort Tesla? Both were, and still are, subsidized by taxpayers. Yet, taxpayers get zero ROI. This is one example of how the government and corporations working together for their own interests.
