They should be responsible for anything they do wrong in other states. You should be able to sue the **** out of California if an illegal does harm while driving.

Duffy announced today that the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has admitted to illegally issuing 17,000 non-domiciled Commercial Driver’s Licenses (CDLs) to dangerous foreign drivers. Thanks to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s (FMCSA) ongoing audit, each of these licenses is being revoked.  “After weeks of claiming they did nothing wrong, Gavin Newsom and California have been caught red-handed. Now that we’ve exposed their lies, 17,000 illegally issued trucking licenses are being revoked,” said U.S. Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy. “This is just the tip of the iceberg. My team will continue to force California to prove they have removed every illegal immigrant from behind the wheel of semitrucks and school buses.”

So once again, this brilliant liberal Newsome can't resist causing more death to Americans through his sheer stupidity, as if failing to keep fire hydrants working during wildfire season that caused the death of dozens of Californians wasn't enough for him!

Someone should go to jail.  While states issue the CDLs the Fed GOV regulates the requirements.  According to the Law, the FMCSA, in order to obtain a commercial drivers license or the learners permit to train for one you have to be a US Citizen OR a LEGAL immigrant.
