So we give Israel around 4 billion a year for aid. But they made an arrangement with our stupid leaders to not call it aid. This way, they can invest it. Instead of using it as aid, they use some of it to invest in the US treasury and other investments, then they collect the interest.
U.S. taxpayers fund the aid and pay the interest earned on that aid. They don't use the interest revenue for aid. They use it for their government. There is no requirement for Israel to use that interest for aid or humanitarian causes.
In short, we give them aid , so their government can invest it to collect interest, then U.S. taxpayers fund the aid and pay the interest earned on that aid.
