I didn't know that about Max Baer Sr. He killed a guy and kept boxing.

That is a tough burden to carry.
Ray Mancini was never the same after it happened to him.
A South Korean just wouldn't stop and died four days after Ray beat him into a coma.

Lots of rule changes in boxing and a couple suicides (South Korean mother and the referee).
