Democrat Taylor Rehmet won a special election for the Texas state Senate on Saturday, flipping a reliably Republican district that President Donald Trump won by 17 points in 2024.

Rehmet, a labor union leader and veteran, easily defeated Republican Leigh Wambsganss, a conservative activist, in the Fort Worth-area district. With almost all votes counted, Rehmet had a comfortable lead of more than 14 percentage points.

In a STATE where the Repubs RULE nearly DOUBLE the Dhim count, do you REALLY think this means anything??

Oh and as a FYI, your "mayor" is going to have to deal with a CITY COUNCIL of REPUBLICAN MAJORITY REPS, so your little celebration is more than short lived. UNLIKE your dopes in Virginia, she won't get much done if her CITY COUNCIL won't go along. 

Now, keep your little celebration going for a little while, while REPUBLICANS get busy and actually get the **** done that needs to be done!!

Special elections aren't any "barometer" of things to come since the TURNOUT is so low. It's proven in the past to be meaningless to measure or predict anything. If you think it is, you're a **** IDIOT!!
