How is it that you see the need for a sign language provider when virtually every TV set made in the last 10 years has made captions and subtitles available with the push of a button on your remote, and usually they're offered in many different languages?  
Or maybe the problem is that your TV is as old as the 25 year old piece of **** VW you've got sitting in your yard?

Frankly, watching some idiot wave their hands around continually while you're trying to watch a news conference is very distracting.

Yeah, I use the subtitles all the time, as I'm starting to have some hearing issues.
For the most part, they're very good on the live newscasts and sports.  No doubt their are some timing issues where they're out of sync, but I can't believe that makes them less useful than having an inept or biased sign language provider waving his arms around.

So which would you consider more useful?  
You think there are more people who can read sign language than who are literate enough to read the subtitles?
