We really need to open up more psych wards and stop pretending that is totally fine to allow people with psychosis to roam free with no supervision. I know a lot of people don’t like it but it’s for their safety and ours.

But...but...Saint Raygun said mental hospitals were a waste of taxpayer money...and we should let those with severe mental illness roam the streets...

The republicans have been slowwalking the tranny agenda - not opposing it. Hell, their media pretends Bruce Jenner is a woman. And the attack that Reagan launched against the middle class continues apace, unabated and now well-progressed. 

You're not being asked to go back in time. You're being asked to tell the truth TODAY. The truth is, Reagan imposed austerity while increasing spending. He cut the taxes of the wealthy while raising taxes on the poor and middle class - and not just through the income tax code. No.He raised excise taxes. Beer. Wine.Liquor. Gas. Telephone service. All of these and many more saw significant price increases due to built in taxes. Trained to look only at the income tax, many Americans did not even realize that Reagan was raising the holy **** out of their tax burden. They just saw prices go up.

Reagan tripled the national debt while cutting crazy people loose to wreak havok. He cut spending FOR the people and increased spending AGAINST the people by hiring a ton more bureaucrats. In contrast, Carter had CUT the civilian side of government. As a function of population, Reagan cut the military side. But he increased the civilian side - the side that regulates us. As spending goes, as sizeof government goes, Carter was the conservative. Reagan was spend-happy: a typical republican with a checkbook.

These are facts. They're forty year old facts that still matter very much. And their age doesn't mean they are no longer facts.
