I am serious. We were both 17. Just below the tip of that mountain (or hill, whatever) there is a crevice. We banged there. You can see how much the water level has receded. The light-colored part used to be under water. It was barely showing when we did the horizontal polko. 

It was 1989, my thoughts were small my hair was long, caught somewhere between a boy and a man, she was seventeen and she was far from in between it was summertime in Las Vegas. Splashing through the sand bar, talking by the camp fire. its the simple things in life like when and where. we didn't have no internet, but man I will never forget the way the moon light shined in her hair ~ Kid Rock

Mine was five  16 year old boys crammed into a Mustang that traveled from  SF California to the Mustang Ranch in Sparks Nevada  on a Friday night in 1971.
Inside the Waiting Room / Guest Lounge was a cowboy who looked like he lost his entire lower jaw to cancer or an injury.
He got what he came there for regardless how bad he looked....I thought that was pretty cool.
The cost was $10 for a "straight lay" and $15 for a "hum and a buff".
At the time I made $2 / hour at a fiberglass boat factory.

the casinos let us play the slot machines and they served us free drinks too..!
Back then you could book a $99 weekend package from SF to a Reno or Tahoe casino / hotel with meals, and a show. I think the catch was you had to show you had $100 cash on you too.
This was popular with Navy stationed at Alameda or Vallejo and Army stationed at The Presidio or 
Fort Ord.
Back then $99 would have been a weeks pay [or more] for lower rank enlisted.
