I've been following a specific Twitter account, who says that much of the Bible has been papered over or quietly censored. The actual tome should be several times longer than what you are handed today (to say nothing of abominations like the Scofield Bible).

The passages you / your pastor read on Sunday does not reflect the true totality of messages from 'da Lawd.  Image

Basically you need to assume that "they" already corrupted Christianity long ago, and that any meaningful reconciliation with the "word of Christ" involves having to look outside your usual resources.

For example, your pastor or afterschool teacher (Back when you were 8 years old) has likely mentioned that suicide is an extreme sin. While suicide is not something to be celebrated or encouraged, what actually happens (according to someone who is "more in tune" with Christian theology than most modern churches / doctrinists) is that the soul ends up wandering for a period of time.

It is not an automatic one way ticket to Dante's Inferno...ya dig?

Ok. I am not sure why this is directed at me. I don't think I brought up the issue of suicide. I mean, I tell BV to kill himself regularly, but that is out of respect for mankind.

Suicide is just an example I use, because I have heard pastors and Christian afterschools make that claim. My overarching point is that there is nothing inconsistent with accepting "the Lord" as your savior while remaining skeptical about what is taught today. Chances are there is much they haven't taught you as the information is not easily accessible (this is by design).

I see. Yes, I agree. Who knows the extent of manipulation of texts that both the Jews and the early century Catholic church have done. It was definitely by design, from both the Jews and organized Christian based religions to brainwash members into believing that cursing Israel is the same as cursing God. That was huge in my upbringing. I was born and raised Catholic. They hammered into our minds that the establishment of Israel was all of God's will and was foreseen in the Old Testament. Therefore, we must align ourselves with their interests. Fear and guilt were effective weapons. It still is today.   All you need to do is listen to Ted Cruz. He proves what I just said. He is a perfect example of a brainwashed product from organized Christian religions. On one hand, it is dangerous that a political leader of his stature has been irreversibly indoctrinated. On the other hand, it is a positive thing, because we have an authentic example of what the Jews and religion have done.

Gee. How original. There has never been any books questioning the authenticity of Jesus before or anything. How **** original.

You didn't even read this book. You do what you always do; you only read the title, then make an *** out of yourself for it.
