With our rate of inflation, it should only be at $313. So they’re price gouging and more than likely shrinking the product so you get less of it.

I am at like "**** It" this dawn of 260101. Start my own technical consulting company for industrial controls and robotics! I know as much about it as Scott Bessent does about finance! If I cheers a few Mimosa's with the Mrs today she might go for it.

In seriousness, there is a niche I see in Industrial Refrigeration. The Life Safety Detection and Alarm Systems were always an afterthought and fulfillment always had issues. Maybe it was just my small town joints way, and Johnson Controls is huge in Building Detection, Fire Alarms, and Elevator Controls. My outcome may not be the best with them. But it's worth looking at how they have done for their investors. If I am serious with myself the idea is probably a non starter. Small consultant outfits are gobbled up by bigger fish nowadays. The Great Consolidation ruins small business. And ya guys give me shyt for being a globalist. I worked for one, and I am providing positive reference to investing in them. Please read to the end.

SMR's = Small Modular Reactors. The AI Goddess will make them happen. She needs the juice. I have a degree in Nuclear Engineering and I actuallly understand some of the physics. The Molten salt is at near atmospheric pressure, it's basically like pumping molten lead. The low pressure really makes them safe. It's basic skid buiilt technology. One company has been pursuing already and has contracts in Bellevue Washington. All the Techgharchs are looking at them. It's certainly in the AI bubble sphere thingy we all have to navigate in 2026.

I am curious how scaleable the critical mass is of the molten salt. The Uranium or Thorium can be mixed in with salt at various concentrations. I saw simulation software, started to try and download and buearacracy said stop.

We make plutonium "batteries" and they are still working on the Voyager space craft. Rumors in my RC aircraft lore and according to a CIA agent who served in the 60's, we lost an unmanned aircraft powered by one in Russia back then!

Flirtin' with the Molly Hatchett Disaster on January 8th, I am done at my current role. Job #1 right now is make sure the unemployment claim is prepared to hit send on the 9th. Not that anyone will ever count it but.. it fits the ship and the state of the seas.

I chase too many "Dream's I'll Never See".. Running for Congress sounds extremely lucrative, like a lot of fun, and also possibly more dangerous than smoking while working in a fire works plant.

Focus is my problem.. I keep searching for a full view of the big picture and miss the details. I hereby resolve to try not to dissolve in 2026!

Don't worry about background checks, in fact, if you can show a molestation charge or two, you can get same day service.

California, Illinois, Minnesota, and Washington look like your best opportunities. Any head gear you might have with gay pride insignia is also going to be a plus.

I live in a red zone in a blue state. The high end jobs are going to be replaced quickly.  All the COVID fleers to remote work in Idaho from CA are getting shafted.  Idaho is going got have some serious unemployment claims if they don't cowtow back to NewscumLand.

8.2 Billion served daily.  Hopefully massive conehead quantities of mushroom clouds aren't on the snack menu for the flight.

What would be interesting to me is a similar comparison (going back 30 years) from that old receipt.
Back in 1967 things were "cheap" too.

Her numbers indicate a 3.2 times increase. ($155 to $504... close enough.)
Did the previous 30 years increase similarly?
Hard to rely on published numbers for that history which is why this vid interests me.
A 30 year old printed document.

Maybe postage is a good (and unsurprising) way to check back.
Since it also went up 3x from the late 60's to the late 90's I continue to see a status quo...
Every 30 years we get to panic...  


I'm sure everyone has looked at old price tags on items and had a chuckle.
That old garden tool from ACE Hardware used a couple times a year so the 30 year tag is still visible.
That kind of thing... Yard sales with old **** in old boxes have some of that.
